Total Motion Release® (TMR) – Level 2
Course Outline
(24 CEs)
Prerequisite - TMR 1
Total Motion Release – Level 2 will review the difficulties and “sticking points” participants have using the Fabulous 5, the Super Six Motions, the Wow & the Wind Up. The class will progress the therapist into manual techniques to accelerate the TMR process with the use of “strong points” and point specific leverage techniques. Participants will also be taught a unique skill of assessing tender points and full body issues through a vital visual component, not known by many physical therapists. An added component to maintain patient compliance through verbal & physical cue awareness and how to address these findings will be taught.
Emphasis will be placed on developing & enhancing:
1. Advanced Patient-Therapist communications Skills
2. Advanced Subtle Observation Skills
3. Advanced Investigation Skills
4. Advanced Full body Awareness in 3-D motions
5. Advanced Visual & Energetic Awareness
6. Advanced manual TMR techniques
7. TMR use with Plyometrics
8. TMR use with Weight Training
9. TMR Melting
10. TMR Free Flow
Upon completion of TMR – 2 the participant will understand how to “read” the patient and determine the communication skills required to make a non-compliant patient compliant or investigate more thoroughly into probable hidden issues that are causing a patient to plateau or linger. At the end of the course the participant will have a greater ability to know when the cause of a patient’s problem is emotionally based or physically based and how to handle either situation with confidence. Participant will acquire visual, verbal, manual, and energetic techniques that will take their physical therapy skills to the next level of mastery. A participant who is consistent in using the tools learned in TMR-2 after the course will experience a break through being able to dramatically improve their most difficult patients
