Finding the good side and exercising the bad side

Hello! This is my first post here, and this is really exciting!

I had 2 questions:

1. I had an experience where a client could raise the left arm higher than the right arm, however he felt that the left arm was easier (more pain in the left shoulder). So, while deciding the good vs the bad side, is ROM more important than the good vs. bad feeling?

2. What might a person experience in case he or she exercises the bad side by mistake?

Thank you,
Amit

To determine the bad side ask them to repeat the test and while testing have them think to themselves which arm if pushed into end range for 2 hours would they NOT want to do? What will always be the answer is the painful side is the bad side, no matter the motion.

If a person does the bad side by mistake they typically experience either more pain or tightness on the bad side, and/or issue increases.

Keep up the good work,

Tom
