i read parts of the blog by Bill and noticed the pregnant lady he made her come the next day for the 3rd visit. I saw some patients get better on their first day and then come back in so much pain again , after further investigation it appears they have done more than the usual due to their pain free status after first visit....looks like a good idea to make them come then on the next day to get more headway....what do you think Tom about scheduling the patients in terms of timing and getting better faster than having 2-3 days in between....I might start to do that have them come the next day...????
I just took TMR 1 this weekend. One of Tom's recommendations was to schedule the patient the next day, to help treat out any soreness. Unfortunately for me my schedule does not allow for next day visits very often.
We attempt to have people come back the next day. Think of it like this. They go home after they have gotten tremendous results and they tell their friend or family how they didn't even work my injured side. There family look at them funny like what the heck kind of therapy treats the good side? Then they get worse - and the family may help reinstill the idea perhaps this isn't what you need to be doing. Tom
THANKS, that really helps! I think I wasn't paying attention when you said that about having them come back the next day. Will start to do that. Yeah I think they get worse because they feel good and then START making up for all the lost time they could not do anything.
I actually think having someone come back the next day is a good idea overall. Heck who really nails instructions perfectly in one visit?
The first time I did it was with the pregnant girl cause man she was really hurting. I have done it again with a woman that was in a great deal of pain last week and it really helped to get her going...she'll be making the blog next month.
