Will TMR work for my patients?

I work with adults who have multiple diagnoses (mental retardation, mental illnesses and a variety of physical disabilities). Many cannot or will not follow directions, or have difficulty being touched. Does anyone use TMR with significantly impaired clients? I would like to offer something to them that would relieve their pain and increase (or AT LEAST) maintain their function! I appreciate your input as I consider investing the time and money in the courses. I KNOW they are worth it, but I need to be able to use it with our residents. Thanks for your input!

Yes! TMR has helped 100% of my pediatric patients. Only 2 have been either old enough or cognitively high enough to comprehend instructions to apply the techniques. Several are older and nonverbal due to having profound multiple disabilities. EG: 14 y/o boy who requires total care and was a shaken baby.
Many of the children who had plateaued with previous treatment have made gains that I would not have ever considered possible in the past. I am video taping treatment with some of these patients that will be included in the upcoming pediatric seminar in October. Please feel free to call me or respond here for further clarification.
