I was emailed this technique apparently being taught by a DC. Usually, if it's a DC teaching the course, it's expensive and hyped. Below is the website: http://www.painneutralization.com/ They call it PNT. I read thru the website and it kind picked my curiosity. Has anyone taken the course? Or seen the DVD? Sounds like tmr but they're referring to painful area as trigger points.

I've been to that site as well. I believe he has some videos on youtube; the treatment seems to be a very light, touch oriented therapy. Nothing like Trigger Point work as I know it...and Definitely not like TMR: it appears to all be totally passive.

One of the TMR students has taken it and I am waiting to hear back from him about it. He was one of the testimonials. Tom

So I have taken the PNT course. PNT is more similar in philosophy and application to PRRT than TMR. Simply put PNT is a form of trigger point therapy that involves putting specific stretches into either the agonist, antagonist or an accupunture meridian path to release a trigger point. It works pretty well but is not 100% effective, however I am a PNT novice at the moment. When it works, it works very fast and is pretty cool for both the patient and practitioner. But who really cares if the patient is having any fun, just as long as you are. If you have any further questions you can reach me at jeremybaber@gmail.com or TMR_GOD@gmail.com :) The last one's just a joke people, it's actually TMR_STUD@gmail.com

I have studied PNT from his videos. Look for them used on Ebay unless you enjoy spending $1500 on sub par home made videos. Jeremy explained very well how it works. What I have found is if the trigger point is in a contracted muscle it relieves it very quickly then I do some muscle energy to create new muscle memory and it stays gone. If however the trigger point is in a weak overstretched muscle the trigger point will go away but will quickly return unless the dysfunction causing it to be stretched is release. Dr. Kaufman's marketing is somewhat grandiouse. While triggerpoints may be the source of some peoples pain, it doesn't resolve everything.

I am going to be putting my copy of PNT up on Ebay in 2 weeks, if someone wants to buy it from me before that just email me an offer. It retails for $1500 and it recently auctioned on Ebay for $700 last week.
